Garrett Estates Cellars is proud to be a family owned and operated winery located in Olathe, Colorado on the California Mesa.

Established in 2003 the winery began with three acres of 12 experimental wine varieties. Over the past five years our winery has grown to over 35 acres of vineyards emphasizing varieties enjoyed by wine lovers. 

The location of our vineyard provides our vines with excellent soil conditions, nutrient rich Rocky Mountain water, warm summer days and cool summer nights creating a quality growing environment for exceptional wine grapes. 

Winery owners on Colorado’s Western Slope are becoming recognized for fine quality wines throughout the western United States. Garrett Estate Cellars is proud to join this talented group of Viticulturists and winemakers. After six years of vineyard development Garrett Estates completed their winery in Olathe Colorado in 2009 and will be opening a tasting room in Montrose Colorado in 2010. 

Garrett Estate Cellars focuses on producing quality wines from wine grapes grown only on Colorado’s Western Slope, upholding the tradition of excellent Colorado wines. 

Garrett Estate Cellars grows seven varieties of Colorado wine grapes; Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. We also annually purchase Western Slope Colorado grown wine grapes to ferment other flavors such as Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

WINE LIST

• Riesling — is a mildly sweet, crisp, lightly dry wine, with a nice hint of apple, pear flavor.
• Pinot Gris — is a crisp, refreshing, very light wine.
• Chardonnay — is a light, mildly sweet white wine with a hint of dryness.
• Gewurztraminer — available spring of 2010
• Merlot — available spring of 2010
